Executive Summary
Douglas Fernandes is the Director of the CDR (Claims and Dispute Resolution) division at the São Paulo, Brazil office.
He has over 14 years of national and international experience in investigative consultancy and Litigation Support, External and Internal Auditing, construction project management, risk management, change management, contractual administration, claims management, and claims preparation, including productivity analysis and delay analysis.
In recent years, Douglas has been more involved in Disputes, serving as a technical assistant in local and international judicial and arbitration disputes, participating in productivity and delay analyses, and preparing expert reports.
He has been involved in cases in various chambers: ICC, CCBC, CBMA, CAMARB, FIESP, FGV, and the Institute of Engineering.
He has led numerous External and Internal Audit projects, Investigation and Fraud, Compliance, Corporate Governance, and the development and structuring of regulatory compliance strategies and financial restructuring of companies, including multinational, family-owned, regulated, and publicly traded entities in various sectors of the economy.
He has experience in various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Retail, Energy, Industrial, Consumer Goods, Financial Sector, Communications, NGOs, and Banks. Before joining Conexig, Douglas Fernandes worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young, PwC, and FTI Consulting, where he gained valuable consulting experience.
